You should use Call Back(Internet).

4. Do I need to pay 3G/GPRS charges during a s-connect call?
No. 3G/GPRS charges are only incurred when you use Call Back (Internet) to initiate the call. If you chose Call Back (SMS), Call Back (Autodialer), Call Through, no 3G/GPRS charges are incurred.

5. Callback (Autodialer) and Call Through are not offered as one of the available call methods.
This feature is not available when you are roaming as it may incur high call charges. It is also not avaliable to phones installed with Java version of s-connect.

6. How do s-connect send out my SMS?
The SMS is sent out through the internet so it will require 3G/GPRS/Wifi connection.

7. After starting s-connect, I am always connected to my 3G/GPRS why is that so?
S-connect will connect to 3G/GPRS to perform the following operations, making a call (Call Back (Internet) selected as calling method), sending SMS, Invite Friends, Check Balance, Upload Contacts, Roaming, Login. Depending on your settings in Settings->General Settings->Internet Connection, the 3G/GPRS connection may or may not be disconnected.

8. How many kilobytes does s-connect mobile app use to initiate a call back and send an SMS?
S-connect uses around 4 KB for call back triggered via Internet, and around 5 KB for sending an SMS.

As there many other factors such as different phone models, different service provider, packet drop, etc, an estimated variance is +/- 1 KB. |
